Accessibility Statement

AlbertaPoker.com is committed to making our site accessible to all users. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA conformance across all pages.

Conformance Target

Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This means we aim to meet all Level A and Level AA success criteria. Our last internal accessibility review was conducted in March 2026.

Accessibility Features

  • Semantic HTML structure with proper heading hierarchy (h1 through h4)
  • Full keyboard navigation support including skip-to-content links
  • Dark and light theme options for visual comfort, with user preference persisted
  • Descriptive alt text on all meaningful images; decorative images marked with empty alt
  • Color contrast ratios meeting WCAG AA minimums (4.5:1 for normal text, 3:1 for large text)
  • Visible focus indicators on all interactive elements
  • Responsive layout that works across screen sizes and orientations
  • No content that flashes more than three times per second
  • Form inputs with associated labels where applicable

Known Limitations

We are aware of the following areas where accessibility could be improved:

  • Interactive tools: Some JavaScript-powered tools (Compare, Room Finder, calculators) rely on client-side rendering. We provide static HTML summaries where possible, but the full interactive experience requires JavaScript.
  • Third-party content: Embedded operator logos and external links point to sites outside our control. We cannot guarantee the accessibility of those destinations.
  • PDF/document downloads: Currently none are offered, but if added in future they will target PDF/UA conformance.
