AlbertaPoker.com covers only poker rooms that are fully registered with the AGLC and operate under Alberta iGaming Corporation. We do not review or promote unregulated or offshore poker sites.
How We Rate
Each poker room is scored across six categories: Bonus and Promotions, Software and Features, Tournament Offering, Cash Games, Payments, and Support. The overall rating is a weighted average. Ratings are updated quarterly or when operators make significant changes.
Promotion Verification
Offer details and offer terms are verified against official operator pages. We distinguish between verified public codes, offers with no public code identified, and unverified offers. We never fabricate offer details or publish offers we cannot source.
Commercial Relationships
This site contains affiliate links. If you click through and register using our links, we may receive compensation. Commercial relationships never affect editorial ratings or rankings.
AGLC-Registered Operators Only
AlbertaPoker.com lists only poker rooms that hold active registration with the Alberta Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Commission (AGLC) and operate under an agreement with Alberta iGaming Corporation. We verify registration status against the official AGLC operator directory. Offshore, grey-market, and unregistered operators are excluded from all pages on this site, in full compliance with AGLC Standard 1.21.
Compliance with the CGA Code for Responsible Gaming Advertising

The Canadian Gaming Association's Code for Responsible Gaming Advertising, administered by Ad Standards, establishes principles for integrity, transparency, and social responsibility in gambling advertising. AlbertaPoker.com adheres to this Code across all content:
- Integrity: We do not imply that gambling leads to financial improvement, social status, or success. All editorial content is factual and based on verified testing.
- Transparency: Affiliate relationships are disclosed on every page via our above-fold disclosure bar. All promotional content is clearly identified.
- Social responsibility: Every page on this site includes responsible gambling resources and a direct link to AGLC Problem Gambling Resources (1-866-461-1259). We do not target minors or vulnerable populations.
- Bonus advertising: In compliance with AGLC Standard 2.05, we do not publicly advertise specific bonus amounts, percentages, or inducements. Offer status pages direct players to operator sites for current terms.
- Truthful representation: We do not misrepresent products, odds of winning, or present gambling as risk-free. All claims are verifiable.
