Self-exclusion allows you to voluntarily ban yourself from one or more regulated poker sites for a defined period.

How Self-Exclusion Works in Alberta

Each regulated operator offers its own self-exclusion tool. Alberta iGaming Corporation selected vendors for a centralized self-exclusion system in August 2024, which all operators will have to use once the system goes live. Until then, you can self-exclude at each operator individually through their responsible gambling settings.

Steps to Self-Exclude

1. Log in to the poker room's website or app
2. Navigate to account settings or responsible gambling section
3. Select the self-exclusion option and choose your exclusion period
4. Confirm your choice. During the exclusion period, your account will be inaccessible.
